Black & White and Spirituality.

We all have seen the good depicted in white & the bad in black, be it in movies or comics ( with may be Batman as an exception).

If you watch Hindi movies then in Chandni Chowk to China the hero's buddy always has his tiny devil self persuading him to do the wrong things (dressed in black) and his angelic self guiding him to do the right things (of course dressed in white flowing robes) .

Is black a colour? Yes. Some say if you mix all colours ( in a certain proportion) it will reslut in black.
Is white a colour?? Or the absence of colour?

Have we ever wondered if this had a spiritual message?????

Have you seen a saint dressed in Black???

Think of this.... Sun is always shining and the moon (which does not have its own light) shines just by reflecting the suns light.

Similarly we could be shining and reflecting Gods light if we were not covered up with the dust of ego et all.

White reflects light and heat we have studied in science. Just as black absorbs it.

Black clouds bring rain & thunder....white clouds usually just sail pass witnessing the Earth.

White snow peaks are visible in the moonlight, and dark forests can only be seen in the Sunlight

So what does all this lead to.....White is reflective, a witness of the surroundings and non absorbing.
