Out growing toys & clothes

When a child out grows the clothes we discard them (eventually). Similarly children are happy to give away toys that they do not enjoy now (usually).

A new toy gives immense happiness ( temporarily) to a child and then the same thing is soon out of his life.

Generally speaking most material things have a limited usage to us. But intangibles like memories and relationships stay with us forever.

Do we out grow Knowledge? Love ? Smiles?? Memories??

Some things become a part of us & we don't outgrow them. They become part of what teh atma carry to the next bodily life as well.
