Gita has been called a manual for life, rule book, guide and even "Science of Life"

Another simplistic definition is when some principles are tested , experimented and then the knowledge is shared.
For example gravity or Archimide's principle. Its not that things did not fall before gravity was termed so or that things floated differently before Archimide's observed the phenomena
Well in relation to Gita one can say it has the fundamental truths & principles of of life that do not change over a period of time
